Guide: Special Room Requests
Astra Portal: Special Room Requests
All Special Room requests must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the event. If your organization is part of the Fraternity & Sorority Life Department, please submit the FSL Special Room Request Form. If your organization is not part of the Fraternity & Sorority Life Department, please submit the Special Room Request Form.
Please note that there is no available calendar to check the schedules of the rooms and locations listed below; therefore, there is no guarantee that it is available for your event. Should the room or location not be available, the SEAR Team will reach out to you with alternative spaces that may fit your event.
The following locations are considered Special Rooms:
- ECSS 2.102 (TI Auditorium); capacity 180
- TI Lobby (outside TI Auditorium)
- HH Lobby (outside Hoblitzelle Hall Auditorium)
- Music, Art, and Performance Halls:
- AH2 1.204
- JO 1.216
- JO 2.604
- JO 2.5L1
- PHY 1.102
- PHY 1.104
- PHY 1.202
- PHY 1.304
- ATC 1.102
- ATC 1st Floor Lobby
- SOM 1.118 (Davidson Auditorium); capacity 300
- SOM Atrium (outside of Davidson Auditorium)
- North Mall (TI Plaza, Love Jack Plaza, etc.)
- FO 1st and 2nd Floor Atriums
- ECSW 1.100 (Axxess Atrium)
- ECSW Inner Courtyard
ALL rooms and open spaces inside ECSW are only reservable for Hackathon events.
If there is a location that you are interested in reserving that is not listed above, nor is it found through the General Room Request Form
- Click the Special Room Request Button that applies to your organization; you will then be redirected to the Microsoft Forms, Special Room Request Form
- Fill out the questionnaire completely, then click submit.
- If you would like a receipt of your submission, make sure to check the box to save your response.
- Once the SEAR TEAM has received your request, they will reach out to you should any additional information be needed.
